ASSIGNED WITH UPDATING THE GLOBAL RETAIL CONCEPT OF THE ICONIC BRITISH FRAGRANCE BRAND, MILLER HARRIS, REBECCA KÖRNER REIMAGINED THE COMMERCIAL PRESENCE OF THIS MUCH LOVED PERFUME HOUSE.

EVERY SCENT HOUSED IN ITS INDIVIDUAL PACKAGING, CHARACTERISED & DISTINGUISHED BY ITS OWN COLOUR, KÖRNER APPROACHED THIS MANY-HUED COLLECTION BY IMAGINING THIS KALEIDOSCOPE LIKE THE PETALS OF FLOWERS & LOOKED TO DISPLAY THESE PRECIOUS FRAGRANCES WITHIN THEIR NATURAL HABITAT.

THE SPACE WAS ENTIRELY RENOVATED & INSTALLED OVER FOUR WEEKS & EVERY FEATURE OF THE STORE INTRICATELY PLANNED & CUSTOM MADE.

USING NATURE AS THE GUIDE, KÖRNER DEVELOPED A RETAIL FORMAT, BEGINNING WITH THE BRAND’S FLAGSHIP STORE ON BRUTON STREET, MAYFAIR. THIS CONCEPT WAS THEN ADAPTED TO MILLER HARRIS’ 100 GLOBAL DOORS. KÖRNER INTERIORS COMPLETED SIX OF THESE DOORS & ACCOMPLISHED A NEW IMAGE REPLETE WITH A BRAND DNA THAT COULD BE CONCEPTUALISED & ROLLED OUT OVER THE REMAINING RETAIL LOCATIONS.

ADAPTING THE LIMITED SPACED FLAGSHIP STORE TO ACCOMMODATE THE EXTENSIVE RANGE, KÖRNER CRAFTED ELEVATED WALL UNITS WHILE INSTALLING ORGANICALLY SHAPED LOW LEVEL STORAGE. FUNCTION & FLOW WERE PARAMOUNT & LAYERED MULTI-LEVEL LIGHTING WAS DEVELOPED TO ILLUMINATE THE DISPLAYS.

JUXTAPOSING THE MATERIALITY OF THE HIGH LEVEL DISPLAY CASES, RICH TIMBER INLAID WITH MUTED GREEN SIT SIDE BY SIDE WITH INDENTED BRASS UNITS.
